I is for Isuzu
Isuzu hails from Japan and has it’s primary focus is the production of quality commercial vehicles. Initially titled “Ishikawajima Automotive Works” it’s beginnings can be traced back to 1916 making this year its centenary. The first vehicles were produced in 1918 in technical cooperation with Wolseley Motors Limited. In 1934 the company was renamed Isuzu (after the Isuzu River) the word Isuzu translated into English means “fifty bells”. Currently the company is best known for its D-Max and N-Series vehicles.
Here is a profile view of the Irish Isuzu fleet by registration year.

As always, if you are not buying a used Isuzu from a main dealer, the service history and DOE (CVRT) should be verified and one should always check the mileage using an online mileage check such as Cartell.ie, especially if your vehicle has more than one previous owner.
