Today we uploaded over 1.23 million mileage readings into the National Mileage Register via batch. As of the 27th of January 2015 at 16:09:16 the NMR contains 13,664,080 individual mileage readings.

For the third article in our popular alphabetical manufacturer infomatrix we had a choice of three manufacturers, however, based on fleet frequency Citroen (or more correctly Citroën) was the clear winner.

The vast majority of these sales are for vehicles with more than one previous owner. A larger number of previous owners gives greater opportunity for vehicles to be clocked. With clocking rates in the region of 10-12% it’s possible that up to 200 Citroen’s per month might otherwise be sold with altered odometers.
