Clockers in the Dock?

If you have been the victim of car-clocking it may be too late, but the future looks brighter for purchasers of second hand cars. It has emerged that following a lengthly and peristented campaign by Cartell.ie to make clocking illegal, finally the government has taken notice. Following a study by the Department of Transport and NCT it emerged that 9.8% of cars presented for second or subsequent tests showed a lower mileage reading that originally recorded. This figure of 9.8% validates the Cartell.ie figure of 11% and prompted officials to move forward with legislation to provide better protection for motorists.
