Q: I have already purchased the vehicle and now find it has been clocked. What should I do?

A: We would strongly advise you to seek advice from the National Consumer Agency, Lo-Call 1890 432432, or 01 4025555. We would be happy to cooperate with any investigation they carry out. Please note in all cases the Garda will not be able to help as clocking is a not an offence..

I am really loving the theme/design of your site. Do you ever run into any browser compatibility issues? A couple of my blog readers have complained about my website not operating correctly in Explorer but looks great in Opera. Do you have any tips to help fix this issue?

Not gone on the home page myself, however we don’t have browser issues, thanks to the good work of our Web team at Cookieweb.ie

whereas you say that clocking is not an offence any person that receives a price for a vehicle on the pretext that it has less mileage recorded than it actually has is guilty of fraud; and fraud is a criminal offence

Hi Bridie, thanks for your message. Yes, there is no specific offence of clocking of a motor vehicle. We are aware of one case brought for sale by deception, under the theft and fraud offences act. Hope this helps
